FAQs
How should I prepare and ship my samples to your facility?
Shipping requirements depend entirely on the sample type. Fresh frozen tissues must be shipped overnight on dry ice to prevent thawing and degradation. FFPE blocks and unstained slides can typically be shipped at ambient temperature. We provide detailed, step-by-step shipping guidelines and manifests once your project is initiated.
Can you help me choose the right preparation method for my specific study?
Absolutely. We highly encourage a pre-project consultation. Our expert scientists will review your downstream research goals and recommend the most optimal fixation, embedding, and sectioning strategies to ensure success.
What happens if my sample fails the initial Quality Control (QC) check?
If a sample does not pass our incoming QC (for example, due to poor initial fixation, insufficient tissue volume, or severe degradation), we immediately pause the workflow and contact you. We will share the QC data and consult with you to decide whether to proceed with modifications, halt the processing, or wait for a replacement sample.
