Peptide Sample Requirements for Molecular Weight Detection

Sample Preparation

If you choose to prepare the sample yourself, please avoid denaturation, irreducible damage, or adsorption of the peptide to the container wall during the sample preparation process. For example, the use of strong buffers or surfactants is not recommended, and samples should be stored in protein-stable containers such as glass or plastic. Please note that the samples provided will not be returned, so please make a backup copy.

Peptide Concentration

The concentration of peptides in the sample should be appropriate, usually between 0.1-1.0 mg/mL. A concentration that is too high may cause intermolecular aggregation or precipitation, while a concentration that is too low may cause the signal to be too weak to be measured accurately.

Peptide Purity

Samples must be of high purity to reduce interference from other components in molecular weight determination. You can also choose to have us purify and enrich your samples for you.

Sample Stability

The sample should have good stability, and reactions such as denaturation, degradation or aggregation should not occur during the measurement process, otherwise it will affect the molecular weight measurement results.
