IgM Antibody Sequencing

Service Details

Introduction

Immunoglobulins serve as key detection molecules in the immune system. Among the five major classes of immunoglobulins, the immunoglobulin M (IgM) antibody characterized by the µ heavy chain, is the largest. It is generated as a B cell membrane bound monomer and a secreted pentamer. The IgM multimer has either 10 (pentamer) or 12 (hexamer) antigen binding domains consisting of paired µ heavy chains with four constant domains, each with a single variable domain, paired with a corresponding light chain. IgM accounts for 6% of the total serum immunoglobulin, and is generally a protective antibody with immunity and mainly exists in the blood of animals. Therefore, the determination of IgM antibody has a high clinical diagnosis for some infectious diseases such as hepatitis value.

Our Services

The IgM antibody sequencing service provided by Creative Proteomics also adaopt an advanced immunoglobulin profiling sequencing method that uses HCD + ETD to generate simple, easy-to-read sequence ladders for IgM light and heavy chains. Our scientists with extensive antibody sequencing experience use the ETD + HCD to ionizate your antibodies, which would be increase the formation of fragmentions to the benefit of decoding antibodies.

At Creative Proteomics, we also provide customized immunoglobulin M (IgM) antibody sequencing services according to customer needs, and provide professional IgM antibody sequencing services to ensure that all immunoglobulin M (IgM) antibodies are tested with an accuracy rate of up to 100% sequencing. Our immunoglobulin sequencing technology is suitable for any natural or variant antibody.

Applications

IgM antibody sequencing plays an important role in immunodiagnosis, you can apply our IgM antibody sequencing service to the following fields, including but not limited to:

  • Diagnosis of infectious diseases: IgM antibodies, a protective antibodies with immunity, have high clinical diagnostic value for certain infectious diseases such as hepatitis A.
  • Identification of recombinant monoclonal IgM antibody hybridoma expression system: The expression system needs to be screened during the production of recombinant monoclonal antibody IgM, and the main basis for screening is the identification of the type of secreted antibody.
  • Determination and design of target sites in IgM targeted drug design: IgM-targeted drugs generally design the unique structure of the drug based on the relevant regions on IgM, so immunoglobulin M (IgM) antibody sequencing service is required to determine the sequence and structure of the IgM.

Creative Proteomics provides professional IgM antibody sequencing services for global customers. Our team has successfully sequenced thousands of antibodies to help researchers decode their antibodies in a fraction of the time. Therefore, please contact us if you are interested in our antibody sequencing services.
