Antibody sequence information plays a critical role in the similarity analysis of monoclonal antibodies and the development of biosimilar products, and is essential for antibody engineering and protein characterization in therapeutic development. Typically, the sequence of the original gene/antibody can be obtained by searching the published literature and patents. However, we found some discrepancies between the sequence information of mAb products on the market and those reported in the literature/patents. Therefore, it is of great significance to quickly obtain the complete amino acid sequence of an antibody. The most direct way to obtain complete sequence information of monoclonal antibodies is to thoroughly and accurately sequence the whole amino acids of these antibodies.

Creative Proteomics developed an effective and efficient method for sequencing recombinant monoclonal antibodies to determine the main amino acid sequence of monoclonal antibodies without prior knowledge of hybridoma cell lines or DNA sequences on the basis of the mass spectrometry platform.
