Different Species Sequencing

Service Details

Introduction

Antibodies have been a remarkably successful class of molecules for binding a large number of antigens in therapeutic, diagnostic, and research applications. Several species have been immunized throughout the years to produce antibodies taht in rabbits, mice, rats or guinea pigs for therapeutic or diagnostic applications, as well as for research purposes. Typical antibodies derived from mouse or human sources use the surface formed by complementarity determining regions (CDRs) on the variable regions of the heavy chain/light chain heterodimer, which typically forms a relatively flat binding surface. Antibodies derived from rabbittes are an type of antibodies with high specificity and affinity at the same time. Both mouse and human kappa light chains have two intrachain disulfide bonds, while most antibodies derived from rabbittes have another link in addition to this. Disulfide bonds in the variable and constant regions. Alternative species, particularly camelids and bovines, provide a unique paradigm for antigen recognition through novel domains which form the antigen binding paratope.

Our Services

Creative Proteomics provides a new mass spectrometry sequencing platform taht is capable of sequencing any species. Our scientists via tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS)that does not rely on existing databases that can introduce biases or erroneous amino acid calls. Also, some species have not been sequenced, so there is no genome or database to compare them with. Our liquid chromatography (LC-MS/MS) systems combined with our machine learning algorithms provide massive amounts of data to read every amino acid with sensitivity and confidence. This allows us to assemble peptides into complete protein sequences with high precision and high throughput.

At Creative Proteomics, we have sequenced human, mouse, rat, hamster, rabbit, sheep and bovine antibodies for our customers in the past, which has been widely praised by customers. We are confident that your antibodies can be sequenced and look forward to any challenges you present.

Our Technical Advantages

  • Multiple different species of antibodies can be sequenced.
  • A variety of different enzymatic cleavage is used to achieve 100% full-sequence pieces back together of the different species.
  • Targeted data processing algorithms is formulated to ensure data integrity by combining with bioinformatics PEAKS and other mass spectrometry analysis software.

Creative Proteomics has accumulated extensive experience in the discovery and sequencing of therapeutic antibodies and proteins. We provide professional different species sequencing services for global customers. Our team has successfully sequenced thousands of antibodies to help researchers decode their antibodies in a fraction of the time. Therefore, please contact us if you are interested in our antibody sequencing services.
