  • Protein Characterization Sales Manager

    Location: New York, United States
         

    We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced sales manager to ensure the achievement of sales tasks and develop and maintain strong relationships with customers through high-quality services.

    Primary Responsibilities:
    • Project planning and oversight. Coordinate and develop program goals, strategic plans, and project quotations.
    • Conduct project research and build, maintain and execute project plans to meet customer needs and ensure sales success.
    • Meet or exceed customer expectations and develop and maintain strong relationships with customers.
    • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments affecting target markets.
    • Ensure clear, concise, and accurate communication of products/services information during sales presentations as needed.
    Qualifications:
    • MSc in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biological Engineering, Material Sciences or related fields.
    • Hands-on experience operating LC-MS and GC-MS instruments.
    • Experience in oversight or participation in a biopharmaceutical project is a plus.
    • Basic programming skills relevant to large scale protein data analysis preferred.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across a multidisciplinary team.
    • Self-motivated and independent thinker, with the aptitude to work autonomously

  • Protein Characterization Scientist

    Location: New York, United States
         

    We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced sales manager to ensure the achievement of sales tasks and develop and maintain strong relationships with customers through high-quality services.

    Primary Responsibilities:
    • Carry out routine lab duties including sample QC, sample detection and data analysis.
    • Apply broad protein chemistry experience to characterize and analyze recombinant protein, antibodies or other biopharmaceuticals from a top-down or bottom-up approach.
    • Design and execute biochemical and biophysical experiments.
    • Responsible for troubleshooting and correcting scientific issues/problems.
    • Establishment of novel biochemical assays.
    • Collaborate with other team members to advance projects through the development pipeline.
    • Support sales efforts including pre-sales technical presentations and discussion on experimental design to improve our win rate in complex sales situations.
    Qualifications:
    • MSc in biochemistry, cell biology, analytical chemistry or a related field, with 3+ years of relevant work experience in an academic or pharmaceutical industry lab.
    • Hands-on experience operating LC-MS and GC-MS instruments.
    • Ability to rapidly learn, develop, optimize, validate, and execute novel assays.
    • Established track record of accomplishments in protein characterization.
    • Experience in physicochemical principles of protein structure and stability.
