(Senior) Scientist-Bioinformatics

Creative Proteomics is a global company with state-of-the-art equipment and closely assisting experts to provide quality services to our clients. To further enhance our service capabilities, we are looking for a scientist with experience in the field of protein bioinformatics. They will be responsible for the integration and statistical modeling of datasets, which are primarily derived from mass spectrometry (MS) experiments, the development of new methods, and the answering of questions for clients.

Key duties and responsibilities

Handle large-scale proteomics datasets and their analysis.
Establish and optimize standard operating procedures for bioinformatics analysis as well as develop and implement new quality control (QC) measures and algorithms in the process or analysis.
Develop new methods for new or existing data management, statistical analysis, and data visualization.
Organize and write project reports to fully document methods and results.
Work closely with relevant departments, and solve the problems or emergencies that arise while working on the projects.

Who you are

Ph.D. in bioinformatics, computer science, statistics, or related field.
Experience in PTM bioinformatics analysis is preferred.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, R, or Perl.
Strong written and verbal communication skills (business fluent English)
An open-minded, flexible personality with a can-do.
Strong problem-solving and analysis capabilities.
Able to work under stress.
