Antibody drugs play a crucial role in targeting specific molecules or cells involved in diseases. Assessing the effectiveness of antibodies in various immune functions is essential for evaluating their therapeutic potential. Creative Proteomics offers comprehensive antibody drug efficacy testing, including ADCC, CDC, ADCP and TDCC. By comprehensively evaluating these functions, we can help our clients gain a deeper understanding of the efficacy of antibody drugs and their potential applications in immunotherapy.

Effector Function Testing Services at Creative Proteomics
Antibody-Dependent Cell-Mediated Cytotoxicity (ADCC)
ADCC assay measures the antibody's ability to direct immune cells (e.g., natural killer cells or macrophages) to kill target cells. Creative Proteomics determines cytotoxicity by labeling target cells with a fluorescent dye and then culturing them with effector cells. The effector cells are then mixed with the antibody-drug sample and cytotoxicity is determined by quantifying the death of the target cells using flow cytometry or other appropriate methods.
Complement-Dependent Cytotoxicity (CDC)
CDC assay measures the antibody's capacity to activate the complement system, leading to the lysis of target cells. Creative Proteomics does this by incubating target cells with antibody drug samples and complement serum. The extent of target cell lysis is then measured, usually by assessing the release of specific intracellular markers or quantifying live/dead cells using microscopy or flow cytometry. This test helps customers assess the ability of an antibody drug to utilize the complement system to kill target cells.
Antibody-Dependent Cellular Phagocytosis (ADCP)
Antibody Dependent Cell Phagocytosis (ADCP) testing is an important step in evaluating the efficacy of antibody drugs. ADCP focuses on assessing the ability of an antibody drug to promote phagocytosis, a process that is critical for an antibody drug to effectively remove diseased cells, such as cancer cells or cells infected with pathogens. The ADCP test offered by Creative Proteomics provides an important basis for understanding the ability of antibody drugs to induce phagocytosis and clearance of target cells. It helps researchers and pharmaceutical companies determine the potency and efficacy of antibody drugs, optimize drug dosing, and select the most effective drug candidates for further development.
T-Cell Dependent Cellular Cytotoxicity (TDCC)
TDCC assays play a crucial role in understanding the cytotoxic potential of T-cells and their ability to eliminate target cells. At our facility, we offer comprehensive TDCC assay services to assist researchers in the study of immune responses and the evaluation of various therapeutic interventions. Our team of experienced scientists will guide you through the entire process, from experimental design to data analysis. We have developed robust protocols and optimized techniques to ensure accurate and reliable results.
