General drugsConventional methods such as elemental analysis, UV, IR, NMR, MS, thermal analysis, XRPD can be used to confirm the drug structure. For the drugs with special structure, the method of preparing derivatives can be used to indirectly prove the structure of the drugs. For drugs with cis-trans isomerism, especially drugs with different cis-trans structures resulting in different drug stability, physicochemical properties, efficacy and safety, the confirmation of cis-trans structure can be added on the basis of the general confirmation of structure.

  • Ultraviolet absorption spectrometry (UV)
  • Through the determination of the absorbance of the drug solution at different wavelengths in the visible - UV region and the calculation of the absorption coefficient, as well as the identification of the main absorption bands, the information of the possible chromophore, auxochrome and the preliminary connection modes in the drug structure can be obtained, which is of guiding significance for the identification of drugs.
