GSTZ1 Full-Length MS Protein Standard

Product Information
Protein Name
glutathione transferase zeta 1
Description
GSTZ1 Full-Length MS Protein Standard (NP_001504), Labeled with [U- 13C6, 15N4]-L-Arginine and [U- 13C6, 15N2]-L-Lysine, was produced in human 293 cells (HEK293) with fully chemically defined cell culture medium to obtain incorporation efficiency at Creative-Proteomics. This gene is a member of the glutathione S-transferase (GSTs) super-family which encodes multifunctional enzymes important in the detoxification of electrophilic molecules, including carcinogens, mutagens, and several therapeutic drugs, by conjugation with glutathione. This enzyme also plays a significant role in the catabolism of phenylalanine and tyrosine. Thus defects in this enzyme may lead to severe metabolic disorders including alkaptonuria, phenylketonuria and tyrosinaemia. Several transcript variants of this gene encode multiple protein isoforms.
