Surfactant Degradation Reagent for ESI

Product Information
Description
Surfactant Degradation Reagent is a trifluoroacetic acid (TFA) based reagent for the rapid, efficient breakdown of Acid Labile Surfactants. The Surfactant Degradation Reagent is directly compatible with MALDI mass spectrometry when spotted with a LithTip or other chromatographic prep tip. For electrospray ionization (ESI) mass spectrometry experiments, the Surfactant Degradation Reagent should be thoroughly washed away during desalting on a chromatographic prep tool (e.g. reversed phase LithTip or SpinTip) or on-column prior to LC-MS analysis to prevent ion suppression. The Surfactant Degradation Reagent for ESI is formic acid based and is available for direct compatibility with ESI-MS.
