CAMP Full-Length MS Protein Standard

Product Information
Protein Name
cathelicidin antimicrobial peptide
Description
CAMP Full-Length MS Protein Standard (NP_004336), Labeled with [U- 13C6, 15N4]-L-Arginine and [U- 13C6, 15N2]-L-Lysine, was produced in human 293 cells (HEK293) with fully chemically defined cell culture medium to obtain incorporation efficiency at Creative-Proteomics. This gene encodes a member of an antimicrobial peptide family, characterized by a highly conserved N-terminal signal peptide containing a cathelin domain and a structurally variable cationic antimicrobial peptide, which is produced by extracellular proteolysis from the C-terminus. The encoded protein has several functions in addition to antimicrobial activity, including cell chemotaxis, immune mediator induction and inflammatory response regulation.
